Electrical Engineering
The ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (FIELD OF STUDY), A.S. is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year university to earn a Bachelor of Science In Electrical Engineering. Students in this program will Perform engineering tasks in designing electrical components, instruments, and systems.
This Associate of Science is a discipline that applies principles of engineering, applied science, and mathematics to design and maintenance electrical and electronic equipment, systems, components, and processes. Students will enroll in classes and labs to gain knowledge in electrical circuits, digital system, motor control, and power stations.
Electrical Engineering Courses at Odessa College follow the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Lower-Division Academic Course Guide Manual and are transferable to ABET accredited four-year universities.
